You know how on SnapChat you can use all of those silly filter’s to make funny faces? Well allegedly SnapChat is saving the data from your face after you use it and some users are suing them for it.
According to TMZ the the users are claiming that SnapChat is keeping the data and it could be used to compromise credit cards and other systems that use facial recognition software. The users are seeking damages and asking SnapChat to saving the facial data.
This is not the first time this year that SnapChat is being sued. They are also fighting a lawsuit because of their speed filter. A young woman caused an accident because she wanted the filter to hit over 100 mph and while she was distracted looking at her phone, she crashed into a car.
Looks like there might be some changes in SnapChat soon.
