In a positive twist of events, Kesha will take the stage at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards after all! After Dr. Luke and his Sony Music-owned label, Kemosabe Records pulled the plug on Kesha’s upcoming BBMAs performance earlier this week, they have decided to restore approval. Kemosabe Records released an statement on May 19 about the ordeal.

“Kesha’s performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith. Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation [against Dr. Luke],” the statement reads.
