Last week, dancehall legend Mr. Vegas put out a seven-minute video calling out Drake for being “fake” for appropriating the dancehall culture, and not giving the artists he’s influenced by the proper credit.

Ebro In The Morning then got him on the phone to clarify his statements, and get to the root of the issues. Basically, he’s pissed that Popcaan’s name is not properly credited on the Views tracklist, nor is Beenie Man‘s. But how does Popcaan feel about that?

“Don’t try and violate my brother now,” Pop says in a new video. “You don’t know anything about Unruly or OVO. This is the truth. Leave the youth alone.”

Drizzy also added a little jab, after having appeared in Vegas over the weekend for Mayweather‘s daughter’s Sweet 16:

Though he had previously said he’s not dissing Drake, Mr. Vegas also put out a diss track of sorts over the weekend, taking aim at Drake and any others who “exploit” dancehall music.
