Hillary Clinton doesn’t have time to debate Bernie Sanders this late in the primary campaign game. Recently, the presidential hopeful turned down Bernie Sanders invitation to debate ahead of the California primary.

Clinton stated she believes her time is “best spent campaigning and meeting directly with voters across California and preparing for a general election campaign that will ensure the White House remains in Democratic hands.”

Her team stated she also wants to focus her words on enlightening people of the threat that a Trump win poses to the country. On Monday, Hillary offered her less-than-positive critique of Trump not only as a politician, but as a businessman also.

While Sanders was disappointed about Hillary declining his offer, he says he wasn’t surprised. He had hoped to discuss issues such as the “Fight for $15,” which is a hot topic in California at the moment.

Who knows, maybe she’ll change her mind and be willing to discuss the issues in hopes of winning more votes over right before the primary?
