Remember Lil’ Flip? Like all the way back in the early ’00’s when down south rap music was a thing and David Banner’s “Like a Pimp” featuring Lil’ Flip was played all summer long?

Well it seems he might be making a comeback, reportedly making his way into the tech industry.

According to Yahoo Finance, Flip has partnered with Miami-based startup tech company Lang BridgeApp, Inc. as a shareholder. Lang Bridge is formulating an app that allows artists and international fans to direct message each other, using an automated language translator.

The tech company’s CEO, Terry Moss, says compensating artists for partnering with the company is a priority for Lang BrigdeApp, and Flip is set to bank $80 million with the app’s projected success.

“Lil Flip… like other musicians, understands the importance of entertainers being fairly paid for their hard efforts. Honestly, no one can deny the [stain!] that free music consumption has left on our industry, it’s embarrassing to watch our musicians work for peanuts.”
