We think it’s safe to say we’re not the only one’s surprised that Donald Trump is really the last man standing for the Republican nomination. Apparently, there are six world leaders from Italy, Japan, Britain, Canada, France and Germany who seem to agree with us.
During his press conference in Shima, Japan, President Obama stated that he had talked about the GOP nominee with the six world leaders, who all claimed that they were “rattled by him, and for a good reason.”
“A lot of the proposals that he’s made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude or an interest in getting tweets and headlines instead of actually thinking through what it is that is required to keep America safe and secure and prosperous and what’s required to keep the world on an even keel.”
According to an Associated Press tally released Thursday, Trump has reached a delegate majority for the Republican nomination, with 1,238 delegates—more than the 1,237 needed for the nomination. There are more than 300 more delegates at stake on June 7 when California and four other states hold primaries.
Honestly, we’re not sure what is going on with the GOP, but this presidential campaign is looking more like a reality show than a race for the leader of the free world.
