The White House is back in the swing of things after being held under a lockdown early yesterday morning. Robert Hoback, a Secret Service spokesman, says someone at around 12:15 p.m. threw a metal object over the north fence on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Afterwards, the individual was quickly arrested. He did not identify who the person was, but a witness claimed they saw a woman getting handcuffed.
The lockdown happened moments after President Barack Obama came back from a Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. A hazardous materials response unit and fire trucks were present at the scene to make sure the object wasn’t dangerous or poisonous. It turns out that the object was harmless. What exactly was it?
