The saying goes, “Sorry doesn’t fix everything,” but rapper Fetty Wap hopes for different.
His new single, “Wake Up,” is getting crazy spins on the radio, but causing much controversy in Fetty’s hometown of Paterson, New Jersey.
Earlier this month, Fetty took a trip to his hometown to record his music video in his alma mater. Soon after the music video was recorded and released, the principal of operations, Zatiti Moody, was placed on administrative leave.
On Wednesday night, he spoke to the school district at a pep rally – apologizing to the the district and principal.
Fetty stated, “If I disrespected anybody, I came today to apologize, but I also wanted to let people know that I’m a product of my environment.
