Childish Gambino has announced PHAROS, a series of shows over the course of three nights happening in Joshua Tree, CA on Labor Day Weekend. He’s launched an accompanying app with this as well, which will use special technology to prevent ticket scalping and requite matching photo ID and compatible phones to enter.
Gambino is set to debut his new album here, and promises “a comprehensive and immersive experience with a complete performance of new music.” You can also stay overnight at the adjacent campground, though that requires you to be 21 and over. Everything else is all ages, however.
Pre-sale begin Friday, June 24. Each night is $99, and you will only receive full details about the venue location and campground after purchasing your tickets. More info is available here.
