Ray J isn’t too thrilled about his cameo in Kanye’s “Famous” video, and to prove it, he is rumored to be in the process of suing.
After backlash began to pour in about the video, Kanye tweeted out “Can somebody sue me already?”.
Well, reports have it that Ray J and his attorneys are filing the necessary paperwork to begin a case.
If you recall, in the video ‘Ye features a nude wax figure of Ray J laying beside Kim Kardashian and he is not here for it.
In a statement to Heat Magazine, Ray J’s manager, David Weintraub, had this to say:
“We’re talking about potentially doing something,” Weintraub told Heat. “There’s too many times Kanye has done this. You can’t really continue to use people’s likenesses without either compensation or clearance. It seems to be becoming an issue—this is like the fourth time in six months he’s done this. We haven’t really worked anything out. There were kind of discussions but it’s getting old, so our legal team is working out what we want to do with everything.”
