Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson is back in the NFL, this time on the sidelines. Chad had been hired by the Cleveland Browns as an assistant wide receiver coach for training camp.
Johnson says he asked the current Browns head coach, Hue Jackson (who also coached him in Cincinnati), for a coaching job and Jackson said yes. Chad will start on July 28, and so far it’s just for training camp. But, if Chad has his way, the position will become permanent. This is Chad’s first involvement with the NFL since being released from the Miami Dolphins in 2011, after being arrested for a domestic violence incident with his ex wife Evelyn Lozada.
