On Monday night, VH1 Hip Hop Honors aired and saluted the Queens in Hip Hop such as Lil Kim, Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa, and Missy Elliot. This left Foxy Brown fans wondering why she did not receive a tribute. Foxy took to Instagram to share that she was fine with being left out and even thanked VH1.
Foxy mentioned in her Instagram post that she rather be “held to a much higher standard” and also stated it was a huge accomplishment when she received the key to Brooklyn back in March. Foxy also commented on the fact that Lauryn Hill was not honored as well and briefly spoke of their friendship. In addition, Foxy shared she is working on some new music.
