As the circus that is the Republican National Convention goes on, there have been many both laughable and frightening moments. Of those comical moments, Ted Cruz took the stage at the convention to not endorse Trump. While his peers expected the former candidate to use the platform to endorse The Don, as his speech drug on they realized he had no intention of doing so.

Instead, Cruz used the mic to talk about other issues that were weighing on his heart:


“What if this, right now, is our last time? Our last moment to do something for our families and our country? To those listening, please, don’t stay home in November. If you love our country, and love your children as much as I know you do, stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”


After his peers realized he wasn’t joining the Trump bandwagon, they began to boo him off that stage. Peep the hilarious moment below.
