Vince Staples shared his movie and music inspirations and favorites in the latest episode of Amoeba Records What’s In My Bag Series.


One of his picks was Fergie’s album “The Dutchess”, saying the records was full of “bangers … top to bottom.” He also chose the latest album “Ego Death” by The Internet.

He also revealed that his latest album was inspired by the “Unknown Pleasures” album by Joy Division, even down to the cover art.


He also chose a Led Zeppelin album that he’d never heard but considered a classic, and a copy of DP’s Eulogy.
