The USC chapter of Delta Tau Delta lost out of $13,500 when they wired money to a fake promoter, under the assumption that they were booking Tyga.
Scott Slomann tells TMZ in February he made a deal to book Tyga to perform at their frat party in LA. To their surprise, Tyga was a no call, no show. Slomann reached out to get a refund, but naturally, the “promoter” was nowhere to be found.
The frat has asked the LAPD for help and a search has been issued for the U.S. Bank to find out any information about the owner of the account. The frat has also hired a private investigator who has tracked down the suspect and found out he’s currently in litigation over $15 for doing the exact same thing for someone else.
