Three of “The Wendy Williams Show” producers have been fired following the HBCU controversy earlier this summer. The Wrap is reporting that Jason Gabel and two others have been let go. Gabel has been with the show since its inception in 2008. The other two producers’ names have not been released.
A show insider believes that the producers are being used as scapegoats for the backlash in an effort for the remaining show producers to save face. David Perler is still the executive producer of the show as they get ready for the fall release of a new season.
