Happy Birthday, President Obama!

POTUS turns 55 today, and seems to only get better with age. As this birthday will be the last one he spends in the White House, we’re sure he’s going to be turning it all the way up.

It’s no secret that Barry loves music of all kinds, but specifically hip-hop and R&B. Throughout press conferences, speeches, and initiatives, President Obama has found a way to include hip hop into the political narrative.

On his birthday, we’re recapping some of the times President Obama got lit:

That time he had his own beef with Kanye West, calling him a “jackass” for interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs.

When he teamed up with Jay-Z to teach people that everyone’s voice matters

The time he weighed in on who he think would win a Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar rap battle (skip to 1:18 to see his answer).

The time he gave Lil Wayne his props while simultaneously throwing shade about the importance of staying in school.

When he said that finding out what happened to Biggie and Tupac was a matter of Homeland Security (Sidenote: peep Trump in the audience plotting).
