The end of the race has stirred up tons of controversy, but Flelix still made history that night when she grabbed the silver medal.

NBC Olympics reports that Felix has surpassed Jackie Joyner-Kersee as the most decorated American woman in Olympic Track & Field history. The silver medal won on Monday is Felix’s seventh medal, and her first 400m medal ever. Interesting enough, Felix is coached by Bob Kersee, Joyner-Kersee’s husband.
