If you know New York City, you know major events usually happen in different parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn.  But this week, the Bronx was on fire this week for Swizz Beats  “No Commission” Art Show sponsored by Bacardi and The Dean Collection. Swizz, who was born and raised in the Bronx, designed “No Commission” to let the artist of the art world keep all proceeds of their own work and also a free show for art fans.  Artist from all over the world included ZioZiegler, Jeffery Gibson, Kajahal, Liu Wong, Ebony Patterson, So Youn Lee and More.

August 11th kicked off the first day of  No Commission which is also the first art show in the Bronx that was free to the public with a huge open space right off the wills bridge with a fairest wheel, food trucks and Bacardi tables everywhere with drinks like Showtime and more. Over 1,000 people showed up for this amazing night. Performances also included the Bronx own Cardi B and a DJ set by The Bronx legendary  DJ Kid Carpri. On the second night A$AP Rocky, Young Thug hit the stage with a special surprise performance by DMX.

Swizz Beats walked there the art gallery with his mother talking to the people and taking pictures. By the 3rd night, Pusha T was in the building and performed hits like Grindin, New God Flow, Numbers on the board and ended his set with his new hit featuring Jay Z drug dealer anonymous. Pusha also brought out the first artist he signed as the new president of G.O.O.D Music the 19-year Desiigner. Desiigner hype and full of energy like always performed ‘panda’ and his new single ‘timmy turnner’. Guest throughout the week also included Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Fabolous, Laura Stylez, Slick Rick, Dougie Fresh, Ty Hunter, Chanel Iman & of course Alicia Keys.

The last day of No Commission ended on a Sunday with a brunch and more drinks by Bacardi.
