“Love and Hip-Hop: New York” star Bianca Bonnie- formally known as Young B- sat down with BlameEbro to give us the scoop on her new project the 9th year, season 7 of “Love and Hip Hop,” and creating her own lane in the rap game.

Before her reemergence on reality television, everyone knew her as the Harlem standout who made New York proud with her last hit single, “Chicken Noodle Soup.” Now, fresh off of a mind-blowing performance with Rotimi at SOB’s, Bianca sat down to let us know why she’s the real “MVP.” Check it out.

Blame Ebro: How do you feel about the release of 9th year?

Bianca Bonnie: I’ve been ready for a year for the 9th year to come out. It’s actually approaching 10 years now. I think it [has been] 10 years since the release of “Chicken Noodle Soup.” I made the 9th year last year, but had to go through obstacles to drop it. We finally dropping it and people get to see another side of me. They’ll get to see the real Bianca and what I’m about. It’s taking off from here. If something is meant to be, it’s going to happen so I don’t really stress it. It is what it is. I was tired of people saying, “You know “chicken noodle soup” and Young B– you know the “chicken noodle soup” girl. Now, nobody will be able to say nothing. ‘Oh, you seen shawty perform? She fire. You heard that music…fire.”

BE: Are there any features on the project?

BB: Rotimi is featured on the project from “Power” and we just performed at SOB’s together. I think we are going on tour soon. Jaquae, definitely. He’s from Harlem. Two features. I didn’t really want features on the project. But I did the “MVP” remix, so Ro got on it. Jaquae always performs with me so I had to do a turnt up song. I wanted to keep it just me, so I didn’t want to be drowned out with other artists.

BE: Can you tell us about your song with Cardi B?

BB: Me and Cardi B is in the [studio] working. That’s my peoples. So we are definitely working on something. I’m working on something with Remy. Just a bunch of other artists. I will definitely be working with French soon. That’s my bro. So, I’m just getting everything together there will be more visuals and more music. Everything coming out soon. Stay tuned.

BE: Speaking of your “Love and Hip Hop” cast, you are currently shooting season seven. What can we expect?

BB: It’s going. I shot a scene tonight actually when they whisked me away and I missed some of Rotimi’s set. It’s going. I can’t really talk about it too much but you will lsee. It’s a different element. It’s going to show a lot of my artistry but it’s still going to show some drama. Life is filled with drama. I just hope it showcases me the right way.

BE: How’s your relationship with BBOD?

BB: Irrelevant. No comment. Nothing. Nope.

BE: Are there any new opportunities that you want to share with your fans?

BB: No, but follow me on Instagram. Follow me at @BiancaIsKing. That’s [the same on] Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Look forward to new visuals. My project is dropping the “9th year” download that it’s going to be on everything DatPiff and Spinrilla. Every website you can think of.

BE: One last question. There are a lot of ladies in the rap game. What separates you from the rest?

BB: I’m B! The originator, none greater. The finest, your highness. I just create my own lane and do my own thing. I made a dance and created a whole light feet movement. If I did that at 15, I can do anything. I’m just different. I can’t compare myself to nobody else. I love Nicki Minaj. I love all different artists that’s out. All female artists– Dreezy, Dej Loaf. I think everybody is dope, individually. This industry is so male dominated they think that when one female come out and it can’t be 5-10 females out. It’s not going to be one female. Cause I’m definitely coming. It is what it is.  It’s a new age. It’s 2016. Get over that one– “I’m the Queen.” That’s not it. Everybody eats. We are going to get this money. My team is big. I gotta really big team we need some really big rings.
