Even though controversy seems to surround Nate Parker’s past, it seems as though the momentum for his film is still going full speed.
‘Birth of a Nation’ has just been announced on the lineup of London’s BFI Film Festival in October.
Parker himself is set to be in attendance for a question and answer session, though his sesssion at the AFI in the States was canceled as controversy about his 1999 ran awry.
Parker’s film is just one of over 200 to be shown at the festival, and the film is set to make its debut in American box offices on October 7.
