Filmmaker Matthew Fulks filed a lawsuit against Beyonce earlier this year stating that Bey, Parkwood Entertainment and Sony Music and Columbia committed copyright infringement.

Fulks claimed that producers of LEMONADE copied parts of his short film “Palinia.” Fulks claimed that the film was produced after a senior vice president at Columbia Records was sent a link to his film, then when the trailer was released, he noticed similarities to his film. After going in front of a New York judge, the case was tossed out!
