During the uprising in Ferguson following the death of Michael Brown, many new civil rights leader emerged as the fight for black lives continued. One of those leaders was named Darren Seals. Unfortunately, he was found dead early this morning (Sept. 7).
Authorities state that Riverview police were called after they received calls regarding a burning car. When they arrived at the scene, cops found a burning car with Seals in it. He suffered a gunshot wound, where is still unknown.
As of now, the 29-year-old’s death is being ruled a homicide, although no suspects have been named in connection.
