The drama between Lil Wayne and Birdman over the release of Tha Carter V and money owed for royalties has boiled over to Wayne screaming “F**k Cash Money” in concert and expressing his disdain for Birdman.

The beef has gotten so bad, Wayne has tweeted thoughts of retirement and set the music world ablaze. Several of rappers reached out to show their love and support for Wayne to tell him to reconsider. Last week he dropped a surprise new single “Grateful” via TIDAL and now he’s speaking to his buddy Skip Bayless on his new show with Shannon Sharpe called “UNDISPUTED” on Fox Sports 1.

He didn’t directly answer about the retirement but said that the tweet came after he got emotional following an “argument,” that may have been connected with Cash Money issues. That’s when the discussion went to Birdman and whether or things can be fixed between them.

Weezy was quick to say a no and said that he appreciated everyone reaching out after he hinted at retirement. It might be safe to say that Wayne has more in him before he officially retires.
