As the Battle in court continues between Lil Wayne and Birdman over unpaid money, Wayne just caught a huge break thanks to the judge. Wayne’s lawyers requested to see Birdman’s financial records in order to investigate where did the $70 million the two were supposed to split from the $100 million deal with Universal went.

Birdman Released Tyga From Cash Money Without Consulting Lil Wayne First

Birdman lawyers claim they’ve already given Wayne’s lawyers 20,000 pages of documents. Wayne’s legal team claim that they are all useless and they want the direct paper trail. TMZ reports that Cash Money wasn’t keeping good books for two years. The judge gave Birdman 30 days to find those records and get them to Wayne.
