Let’s cut out the drama and get to the point. Compton rapper The Game is preparing for his release of his highly anticipated eighth studio album 1992. Scheduled for it’s Oct.14 release date, The Game decided to invite fans for an intimate listening of 1992 at Lavo Nightclub in NYC on Sept.19.
The private affair was hosted by DJ Envy of the breakfast club and DJ Kay Slay. Guests were treated to an open bar and light bites, along with photo-opps of an album-themed step and repeat. Guests were also treated to a tagging wall which allows you to customize the album cover with a spray can.
Giving guests just a tease, only a few snippets from each track was played. The album features heavy sampling mixed with a west coast vibe that you cannot resist bopping your head to. With an old school vibe from the 1990’s mixed in with the new era of hiphop, 1992 will be skyrocketing up the charts in due time.
The Game’s new album arrives in stores and on digital streaming services on Oct.14 but you can pre-order the project here which also features his released single “All Eyes” which debuted at #12 on the Billboard chart.
