Since getting on the scene there has been a lot of back and forth when it comes to Lil Yachty. There has been hate thrown by O.G’s, diss tracks, sub-tweets and much more when it comes to Boat, and like a true parent his dad isn’t here for it.

In a recent interview, Lil Yachty’s dad shared a clear message to the old heads that his music is “not for you.” He pretty said if you are over the age of 30 then you have no reason to listen to the self-proclaimed ‘King of Teens’. He also defended Yachty’s previous statements of not knowing 5 Tupac or Biggie songs.

“If you’re 30 or over you have to realize that he just graduated high school last year. You know what I’m saying, like he’s a kid. A teenager. A kid, you know what I’m saying. So, look at our own kids and I would like for some of these cats to ask they own kids without going to Google can you name 5 Tupac songs. Can you name 5 Tribe Called Quest songs? You know, can you name 5 Chaka Khan songs?”
