Just two days after dropping her latest album A Seat At the Table, Solange has dropped two different visuals for some of the fans’ favorite songs. Late Sunday night Solo dropped the visuals for “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair.”
The evolution of black hair throughout the years is at the forefront of “Don’t Touch My Hair.” From finger waves, braids, weaves, and afros, no style goes unrepresented in this visual. Sisterhood and self-love are the central themes for “Cranes in the Sky” and of course the common theme in both, just like the rest of the album is blackness. Check out “Don’t Touch My Hair” above and “Cranes in the Sky” below.
