The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone has been one of the biggest phones to ever be released, but ran into some issues when the phone started randomly exploding over the summer. Samsung recalled the phones and offered replacements to users. Most airlines required them to be powered off and Samsung thought the recall and replacement would seize the issue, but the replacement phones blew up like the originals.
Samsung has officially terminated production of the note 7 and have detailed instructions on how to power off and turn in the phone. You can read them here.
