A Detroit woman is proving that real life is scarier than anything made up. As most of your neighbors are putting up skeletons and goblins on their lawn, Larethia Haddon is using stuffed clothes to depict slain police brutality victims on her lawn.
On Haddon’s lawn we see bodies covered with hoodies and more, which are arranged to look as if they have been shot and killed by police. While it is definitely unconventional, she says,
“The kids aren’t afraid of the boogeyman anymore. They say, ‘Grandma, we’re scared to go outside and play.’”
