Troy Ave is facing attempted murder charges for his involvement in the now infamous Irving Plaza shooting and since a court order mandates that he not leave the city thus limiting his performance revenue, he’s crying broke.
According to his lawyer, Ave is hoping that the judge will left his bail restriction that won’t allow him to leave the city and banning him from preforming in any nightclub or like venues because it has left him “barely able to get by.” The decision is being put off because the judge has to go over new evidence presented to the grand jury before he can decide on motions filed by Troy Ave and his team.
Troy Ave, whose real name is Ronald Collins, according to his lawyer, has missed 50 tour dates and tens of thousands of dollars due to his restrictions. He had to pay his $500,000 bail by using his mother’s Brooklyn home in Crown Heights as collateral.
His next hearing is scheduled for Nov.4th.
