It’s no secret that the 1996 movie “Space Jam” is a cult classic millenials seem to love. The 20th Anniversary is approaching and Fathom Events is putting Joe Pytka’s classic film in theaters for two nights only. Along with watching the film, everyone will get a chance to pre-screen the Looney Tunes short film “I Taw I Taw A Puddy Tat.”
This major screening will be featured in over 450 theaters around the country including cities like Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Portland. Tom Lucas, who is the VP of Studio Relations for Fathom Events said, “This event is the perfect chance for audiences of all ages to view the film as it was meant to be seen-on the big screen.”
There has also been stories going around stating that LeBron James would feature in Space Jam 2. “Don’t do it,” Pytka said. He stated that the only reason the original film worked is because of the “perfect storm” of talent that was available. There is still speculation on whether LeBron would actually star in this highly anticipated sequel.
“Space Jam” will be hitting theaters Nov 13 through the 16. Will you check it out?
