Tracy McGrady, arguably one of the greatest shooting guards ever in the NBA phoned into the HeManWomanHatersClub podcast to discuss his life as an analyst, the current state of the NBA and his career highlights.
When Reek asked T-Mac how does he feel about the lack of shooting guards in the league, T-Mac got very candid about how he feels about the current state of the league:
“First of all, there’s a decline in talent. It’s not that much talent in our league. We got a few superstars, but our league is watered down. You got a bunch of young cats in here, they don’t have skills, and to me a lot of these guys are playing off of sheer atheism.”
He feels like today’s players don’t have skills to fall back on, like him past his prime, after he hurt his knee.
He also talked about the creativity of his game, the infamous suit that became a meme on social media and the interesting sotry about how he found out Vince Carter was his cousin. Listen below.
