A passenger taking an Uber in Michigan was stabbed five times after the driver said that he was “disrespecting his car”.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Bloomfield Township police arrested Jacob Allemon this past Saturday after receiving a call about the stabbing.

According to reports, Allemon stabbed a passenger from Beverly Hills who was riding with his wife. Allemon says the couple disrespected his vehicle when he arrived to pick them up, and the man tapped on his window to let Allemon know they were entering the vehicle. Allemon drive about a mile before pulling over and telling the couple to get out of the car.

The couple then asked if they could wait for another Uber ride because there was a snowstorm. That’s when the altercation ensued, and Allemon stabbed the male victim in the face, chest, and back. Despite the assault, the man was able to disarm Allemon while his wife called police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for his injuries and was released the next day. Allemon has since been charged with  “assault with the intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.”

The incident is just another smear on the image of Uber, who just recently dealt with leaked rape and sexual assault data involving their drivers and passengers.
