Tory Lanez had a strong 2016. His debut album, I Told You debuted at number 4 on Billboard and the Toronto singer shows no plans of slowing down. Lanez announced on Twitter that he plans on bringing in 2017 with a bang by dropping not one, but two mixtapes on New Year’s Day.
The tapes are called Chixtape 4 and The New Toronto 2 and over the weekend, Lanez gave a few details behind the projects.
“This #Chixtape4 is gone hit y’all n***as in the head,” he wrote. “My gosh …. me and @PlayPicasso went over the spectrum this time.”
Lanez also said that there are extended versions and never before heard verses for both “Bodmon Song” and “Blue Jay Season” on The New Toronto 2.
These two mixtapes are the follow ups to the 2014 mixtape Chixtape 2 and 2015’s The New Toronto.
