Over the weekend Drake’s management broke a few fans hearts by announcing that his upcoming “Boy Meets World” European tour is postponed. Set to start on Jan 21 in Glasgow, three dates including London and Amsterdam have been moved.
“We would like to inform you that shows on the ‘Boy Meets World Tour’ in Amsterdam, London, Glasgow are being moved to new dates,” his management said in a statement via Mirror. “Drake wanted to create a special experience for fans in Europe and the UK so he has added some incredible new features to an already specular production.”
“Drake can’t wait to see all his fans so he can deliver an amazing and memorable experience,” the statement continued.
The tour is now expected to start in March with Young Thug as the opener.
Meanwhile, that hasn’t stopped Drake from getting to work. Last week Wizkid dropped his latest single “Hush Up the Silence” featuring Drake and he hit the studio with 2 Chainz to work on a new collab for the Atlanta rapper’s next project Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. All of this while fans wait for his “playlist” project called More Life, due any day now.
