The legacy of Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly will now be forever immortalized not only in our hearts and in rap culture but in Harvard’s library; archived right along with three other classics, Nas’ Illmatic, Tribe’s The Low End Theory and Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation.

Legendary Producer 9th Wonder, a Harvard University fellow, is head of the “These Are The Breaks”, a projects by the Ivy League’s Du Bois Research Institute that archives rap culture and music for future generations. 9th Wonder selected four albums to be kept in the library, the most recent project being To Pimp A Butterfly.
