On January 30, news broke out that the witty rapper from Brooklyn was named the Menswear Ambassador for NYFW by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
This ambassador milestone will grant Fab into any menswear show he desires for NYFW and he will have the pleasure of sitting front row. Fabolous was asked by WWD which fashion shows is he most excited about and he replied by saying he “loves stopping by Tim Coppens” and he’s “interested in the Raf Simons show.” The Brooklyn MC also mentioned his relationship with the CFDA and the perks of being an ambassador in his recent interview with Billboard. “I think the relationship with CFDA is going to be a great partnership,” Fab says. “Me connecting to their social and vice versa, you kind of cross-promote to two different worlds and share the experience on both sides. That’s a big a perk for me.”
