Houston, Texas had everyone’s attention last night as the city hosted the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons for Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium. Many of us tune in for different reasons, whether it’s the actual game, the commercials, peer pressure or the coveted half-time performance. This year, Lady Gaga and her monsters took the stage for 13-minute set encompassing all your billboard hits, shiny theatrics, and a strange ending.
Gaga opened by singing “God Bless America” on the roof of NRG Stadium and flew down to the stage and sung a melody of her hits, “Poker Face”, “Born This Way”, “Telephone”, “Just Dance” and “Million Reasons.” She closed her set with “Bad Romance” before catching a football and making an abrupt exit by jumping and disappearing into the crowd.
