Keyshia Cole performed her single “You” on “The Real” alongside friends Remy Ma and French Montana. Dressed in all black, Keyshia, backed by four dancers, belted out lyrics, like only she could, about a lame and disloyal ex. Next, Keyshia’s bestie Remy appeared in all black rocking her Terror Squad chain to lay down her verse on the track. As if one special guest wasn’t enough, Bad Boy’s French Montana came through and delivered his verse, complete with a Melania Trump jab, “You keep coming with them same lines like Trump’s wife.”
Keyshia also took the time to sit down with the ladies of “The Real” to discuss her estranged marriage to Daniel Gibson and their newfound bond.
We’re friends,” she said. “We’re co-parenting pretty amazingly for our son. I’m really proud of us both, honestly, all three of us, actually. We’re all trying to work it out. It’s tough but we do it for [our son].”
Despite the fact that the two have made peace, she confirmed that she and Gibson’s marriage is over for good.
Keyshia is actively trying to find love again, so much so, Remy is in charge of finding her new man, We’re taking numbers,” Remy explained. “She put me in charge of finding the person for her.”
