The 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend takes place in New Orleans this year and Cash Money Records founders Birdman and Ronald “Slim” Williams want in on the action.

The pair have teamed up with Goldman Sachs and The Pack Shack to provide free meals for those in need. The Cash Money roster along with surprise special guests and 200 volunteers, will come together today (Feb. 16th), to pack enough food to feed 50,000 less fortunate families and victims of the tornado that recently hot New Orleans.

According to Silm, while Cash Money is already philanthropic, they feel as though they can always do more, “It’s our 20-year anniversary as a major label distributed through Republic Records/UMG and we wanted to celebrate this milestone by giving back as much as we can during 2017. We’ve done the Turkey Giveaway for the past 20 years, but we felt like we could do more. All-Star Weekend provided a wonderful opportunity to invite some friends down and do some good. We’re very thankful to Goldman Sachs for joining us.”
