While the buzz is around why Colin Kaepernick isn’t signed to a new team, that hasn’t slowed him down from fighting for the advancement of all people.
Kaepernick along with Ben Stiller’s charity, The Stiller Foundation, and several YouTube stars are raising funds to fly food and water to people in Somalia.

Kaepernick said in a video posted to his Twitter, Turkish Airlines has granted a 60-ton cargo plane to fly to Somalia with food and water, for however long it takes to end the famine that is currently sweeping the country. The plane will include rice, vegetable oil, nutritional biscuits, flour, sugar, and porridge.

Kaepernick is working directly with Love Army For Somalia, and the GoFundMe page they created specifies that Stiller’s foundation will receive and manage all donated funds. The campaign exceeded the $1 million funding goal is less than 24 hours and has been changed to $2million. As of print, they have raised $1.8 million in funds. Read on more info here.
