Most of the Twitter world isn’t too happy that their username is now hidden from reply tweets. Twitter did this so user’s names wouldn’t count towards the 140 character limit.


Lots of users say the threads are going to be complicated now, and they are going to get more replies that they don’t want to respond to. Others have said that instead of taking usernames out of replies, Twitter should focus on more important things like suspending racist user’s accounts.

People don’t seem to like change, but this will probably grow on everyone. Just like when instagram released the story feature. Check out some tweets below from angry users:
