On April 9, Boosie and his crew were shopping in a Mississippi mall on what seemed like a routine trip after his performance in Biloxi on Saturday night. Unfortunately, things turned sour after Boosie and his squad, including his pregnant niece, were pepper sprayed by police.
Reportedly Boosie and his entourage were told to leave the Polo Ralph Lauren section of a department store by mall security. Police claim five people from Boosie’s entourage attacked the security guard and a Biloxi police officer outside the department store. Biloxi Police Lt. Christopher De Back said the guard pepper sprayed at least one person as he sought to eject a crowd from the department store. De Back said he didn’t know if the Louisiana rapper was sprayed, but cellphone videos posted show Boosie within a few feet of the officer when the pepper spray was sprayed.
Boosie claims his crew the security was acting racist by calling him “boy.” He also claimed that his jewelry was stolen after his van got pulled over after leaving the mall. Five people were arrested, three men were charged with felony assault and two juveniles were also arrested. Cops are denying having anything money or jewelry, but an angry Boosie claims “it’s on” now.
