J. Cole dropped his documentary on HBO this past Saturday (Apr.15th) “4 Your Eyez Only” and it shed light on one of song from his last album, 4 Your Eyez Only.
The song in question is “Neighbors,” and on this track, Cole rapped about a line about how his neighbors thought his crew was selling drugs out of their house. This eventually led to the feds doing a sweep of the premises. Now, this could easily be a rapper exaggerating, but Cole gives us cold hard proof and releases video footage of the sweep in his HBO documentary.
In the video, we see the SWAT team approach Cole’s studio and enter through the front and we see the camera angle cut to another camera feed, and a SWAT team member is seen knocking that camera out of commission. Now Cole has yet to speak on the footage in question, but it is safe to say it is true, and members of his team such as his manager have taken to twitter to say as much.
@KingOfQueenz is this real footage from the “neighbors think I’m selling dope” story?!
