Adidas just sent out an email to promote their new Marathon gear his week with the subject line reading “Congrats, you survived the Boston Marathon!” Who OK’d this?! Did Adidas think we forgot about the bombing back in 2013 or did they just forget?


Since the incident Adidas released a statement saying:

“We are incredibly sorry. Clearly, there was no thought given to the insensitive email subject line we sent Tuesday. We deeply apologize for our mistake.”

The bombing that happened at the marathon in 2013 was very serious as three lives were lost and hundreds injured. Bad marketing Adidas! Are you still going to support them regardless of their email mishap?
