President George H.W. Bush is in the hospital once again, with pneumonia. Spokesperson Jim Mcgrath confirmed that Bush, 92, is being cared for at Methodist Hospital and doing well. The office of the former President gave the following statement:
“President George H. W. Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital on Friday for observation due to a persistent cough that prevented him from getting proper rest. It was subsequently determined he had a mild case of pneumonia, which was treated and has been resolved. President Bush is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength.”
The 41st president also has Parkinson’s disease which immobilizes and requires he use a wheelchair or scooter.
H. W. is still very active and often on the scene. We wish him a speedy recovery.
