Krayzie Bone, the defacto leader of the trendsetting iconic Hip-Hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony stops by to discuss his new joint group Bone Thugs with former group member Bizzy Bone.

When asked how he was able to make it out of Cleveland where he grew up, he says “we made it as far as we could in the music scene there, we were getting in all types of trouble but we always took music very serious.” So after calling Ruthless Records every day for weeks, they finally get a call back from Eazy-E who would eventually sign them, leading to their multiplatinum success.

Krayzie goes on to shed light on some of rap’s biggest mysteries; what was really being said in the lyrics of their songs? Their fast rapping has inspired folklore amongst fans, wondering what was actually said.

It wasn’t even just about the wording however because their harmonizing is what they would become known for, having influenced the popular rapping/singing hybrid sound prevalent in Hip-Hop today.

The new Bone Thugs album is titled New Waves and is out this summer.
