Former Hot 97 host and comedian Cipha sounds has just landed another deal with streaming platform Tidal, called Hip Hop Improv. The series will feature completely unscripted skits of events that happened at NYC’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade. Improv skits will be based on real events in rap history that are sure to make any fan of hip hop culture laugh.

The first episode will feature legendary The Roots member Black Thought as the first guest, reenacting a marijuana raid that goes left.

“I’m always looking for ways to blend my two biggest passions, hip-hop, and comedy, and this series gives viewers the opportunity to hear some hilarious and real stories from the top players in the hip-hop industry,” explained Sounds in a statement.

But this isn’t the first time the radio personality worked with Jay-Z’s brainchild Tidal on a project. In 2015 he teamed up with Tidal for his original “No Small Talk” series that was very successful, and now he’s back with what’s sure to be an even bigger success.
