Swizz Beatz calls in Ebro In The Morning to talk Ruff Ryders reunion tour, DMX’s reckless set, and potential upcoming beat battles between producers.

The iconic nineties rap crew Ruff Ryders took their show on the road again. The sold out show is generating talk of a national tour. DMX may or may not have had a bit of a breakdown on stage which left fans concerned, but this isn’t a first for the troubled artist.
According to Rosenberg “it moved incredibly smooth from Eve through The Lox, then there was a big lull for X which hurt the crowd a little bit.” Swizzy admits he wasn’t there for X’s set list and probably would have changed a few things had it been up to him, but for the next show in Connecticut, “X was 100% better.”

Before he leaves, Swizz Beats gives us hope that there could possibly be more beat battles between some of today’s hottest producers and even names a few he’d like to see, such as Pharrell and Timbaland, and Funkmaster Flex and DJ Clue.
